Privacy policy

Endogen LLC apps don't collect, sell, or share your personal data. What you create in them stays on your device.

Effective October 25, 2026.

What we collect

Nothing. Our apps contain no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting code, and they don't create Endogen accounts. Endogen LLC receives no data from them. Some apps fetch public data or talk to a service you connect; each app's section below says which.

HalfStep

HalfStep asks for permission to record system audio, which it needs to hear the Music app. Audio is processed in memory as it plays and is never saved or sent anywhere. HalfStep makes no network connections.

SongWorkbench

Analysis runs on your Mac. Optional larger analysis models download from their public hosts when you install them; no audio or personal data is sent.

RadarDisplay

With your permission, RadarDisplay uses your location to center the scope. To fetch data, it asks public services (such as NOAA, the National Weather Service, USGS, and NASA) for the area around the center point. It does not send your location to Endogen LLC.

Odometer Pace

Readings and settings stay on your iPhone. If you connect a Rivian account, the app signs in to Rivian directly and stores only the session token in the iPhone keychain; your password is never stored.

VibraScope

Measurements stay on your device until you export them. The microphone is used for measurement and the camera for instrument photos and serial numbers.

Apple

Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymous App Store and TestFlight statistics (such as installs and crash counts) if you've chosen to share them with developers. Apple's handling of that data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Our apps don't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
